Ben Follet-Smith consolidates top spot

Follet-Smith, who is set to leave for the United States next month, remains the top-ranked amateur on 272 points with Clive Nguru lying in second position with 228 points following his successful outing at the Mashonaland South Amateur Championships in March.

In one of the big surprises, Chibvuri is now ranked as the third-best amateur golfer in this country.
Prior to the Chapman Grand Slam, Chibvuri was tied with Christian Mbanga on 175 points.

Mbanga is now in fourth place after he garnered 189 points.
But it is Thembelani Vundhla who has been doing well this season and is now placed fifth after accruing 159 points from 12 outings.

Bret Hudson, John Sigaba, Grant Hudson, Travis Smith and Barry Painting complete the top 10.
Vincent, who has since relocated to the United States, is still at a respectable position as he is on position 11.

The former leading amateur, Vincent, returned home last month to win the last amateur event and this saw him taking his points tally to 90 after only three attempts.
Another promising young player, Jack Allard, who has since been selected for the junior tri-nations set for Namibia next month, is also doing well.
Allard has participated in only four of the 15 tournaments but is sitting on position 12.
