Her show was the first in Bulawayo.
However, before the show there was commotion as organisers failed to control the crowd. The disorder began at the door, as it was a headache for people to enter. The venue was too small to accommodate the crowd that had gathered.
As early as 8pm men of all ages above 21 jostled to see what the self-proclaimed pleasure manager had in store for them.
In the venue DJs tried to get people to sit down but no-one heeded their call. Revellers chose to stand as close to the action as possible for them not to miss anything of the show.
Buying refreshments was a headache, as waiters could not access all patrons in the club.
Revellers were becoming anxious, as by 11pm there was no sign of Bev and the Sexy Angels. All that anxiety went out the window at 11.30pm when the lights went on and Bev and her group were on stage.
Bev and her group, clad in bum shorts, pink and white bras that left little to the imagination, received a resounding roar from the male revellers while others only opened their mouths at a loss for words.
She started her show by greeting revellers and promising them a night to remember and pleaded for them to participate. The DJs belted out tunes from the late Tongai Moyo, to kick-start her show and the girls wriggled their waists like no man’s business.
Bev then did her much anticipated bottle dance using a Viceroy bottle. She sat on it and wriggled her waist, much to wild cheers from male revellers and those in the front row used their phone cameras to capture the dance for future reference. The dance involves Bev sitting on an empty beer bottle while, it is said, it enters her body.
Her dance has garnered a cult following from male fans who want to catch a glimpse of where the bottle goes.
Bev then invited a male reveller to the stage and up came a young man who looked barely 21. Before he could gather his wits, Bev started stripping him. She started with his shirt and then unzipped his jeans and told him to lie on the floor, he obliged.
Bev then stood over him, did splits, landed on him and gyrated. The young man after that could not match her as when he got up he looked as if a train had hit him. If he thought it was over it was not, Bev told him to stand up and he did. She placed her leg around his neck and drew him closer, thereafter the young man looked like a lost child. Bev then poked fun at him and said: “Hapana zvandaitwa nemukomana uyu,” drawing laughter and cheers from the crowd.
Each of her dancers Chantel, Mercy and Cocoa picked a male reveller from the front row and did the same.
At the end of the show men who spoke to Chronicle Entertainment on condition of anonymity said it was worth their while and they thoroughly enjoyed their night.
