Beitbridge-based musician Bhadilah is taking his craft to the regional stage with a cross-border collaboration alongside South Africa’s ProHeed on a new single encouraging perseverance and hard work.

Titled Muya Wanga, which translates to My Soul, the track was produced by ProHeed and Geezo and will be released on August 30 across major digital platforms including iTunes, Deezer, and Spotify.

Bhadilah said the song’s message is clear: don’t abandon your dreams, hustle until they become reality.
“The track talks about perseverance. It’s an encouraging song for those trying to make it in our communities. We might feel tired, but let’s not give up, soon the doors will open and we’ll enjoy the fruits of our labour. God is watching,” he said.

The collaboration was sparked last year when ProHeed performed in Beitbridge. Having known each other for over eight years, the two artistes reconnected when ProHeed returned to perform in Tshapfutshe, about 30kms from the border town.
“We kept in touch until we felt we needed to give people something,” Bhadilah said.

Looking ahead, the Ngamula Malunde hit-maker plans to tour all seven districts of Matabeleland South province before year-end. – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
