Bhero’s advice for tough times

Christians believe that everything that happens on Earth is God’s will. But when things really get tough, some lose their faith.

Life coach and transformational speaker Nicholas Bhero, in “Never Give up on God”, urges people to keep on believing.

Bhero consistently refers to the biblical story of Tamar, Judah’s daughter-in-law, describing her life as a cocktail of recurring misery, misfortune and setbacks.

But at the end she emerges victorious.

“The dramatic turnaround in her life is sure proof of what God can do in our lives as He wills to transform us from pain to gain, misery to happiness and failure to gain.”

In the chapter titled “Time Wasters”, Bhero talks about selfish individuals who pretend to love you because they stand to benefit from the relationship. Once the benefits are gone, so is the friendship.

“They are like a python, which mesmerises you as it changes colours while drawing closer to you so that it can strike,” he writes.

In this chapter, he also speaks about numerous distractions that devour valuable time. These include social media, procrastination, unplanned events and random meetings.

While the title speaks about putting trust in God, the text is relevant to people of all religious persuasions.

From strategic planning to the art of negotiation, Bhero wades into all.
