Big Brother Africa television reality show entries close

Organisers of the famous show said the deadline for entries was yesterday.

Big Brother Africa Season 8 is expected to start in May, exactly 10 years after the reality TV show hit the screen.

Multi-choice Zimbabwe, Public Relations Manager, Liz Dziva, said all applicants must be aged 21 and above to be part of the reality show.

“Entry were open to all those persons aged 21 years and above who are citizens of one of the participating countries and who either have a valid passport or will be able to obtain one by the end of March. Producers are looking for people who are fluent in English, entertaining and passionate about Big Brother experiences,” said Dziva.

She said of particular importance to the selection team are the qualities of tolerance, determination and enthusiasm.

“If you are open-minded, bold adventurous, that’s even better,” she said.

Participating countries  are  Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Last year, Zimbabwean housemates were urban groove artistes Roki and former Zimra employee Maneta Mazanhi who were both evicted for violent behaviour.
