IN a shocking twist of events, two Big Brother Mzansi (BBM) housemates, Adams and Bexx were on Monday sent packing from the BBM House in Johannesburg after it was alleged that Adams, 24, had raped Bexx, 26 after their Saturday night party. Not much explanation was given by the show’s producers — Mzansi Magic who only cited misconduct by Adams as the reason for his disqualification. As a result of the Durban artiste’s misconduct, Bexx — an insurance sales consultant — also had to be removed from the house for her health and well being — leaving many followers of the show suspecting that she was possibly raped.
It is alleged that after a binge over the weekend, Adams sexually abused Bexx, taking advantage of her vulnerability as she was also intoxicated.
According to reports, Bexx had no idea she had been abused until Monday when Adams came clean and told her they had shared a special moment.
It is also alleged that after Big Brother closely followed their conversation in the garden, the BBM production crew played back Saturday’s video footage and realised that Bexx had indeed been abused. The BBM resident psychologist was called in to debrief the two housemates.
Further research into the issue also showed that Adams had recently shared with another housemate that it would only be a matter of time before he slept with Bexx, something which confirmed that he had well laid out plans to abuse the female housemate.
As a result of the two housemates’ unceremonious departure, their partners, Soxx and Tembi were given an option to remain in the competition, but would now have to work as a pair.
“Big Brother would like to formalise and make an important announcement. Due to exigent circumstances, Big Brother would like to let housemates know that Soxx and Tembi will now be a pair and will play the game together till the finale,” Big Brother told housemates yesterday.
Fortunately for Soxx and Tembi, the two had already forged a relationship as they have been quite close of late.
All housemates are automatically safe from eviction this Sunday as Big Brother has laid off this week’s eviction.
