Big Brother Mzansi theme revealed

This Sunday, Big Brother Mzansi 2 is launching! Mzansi Magic and Endemol SA have revealed the name for the new season: DOUBLE TROUBLE. And in keeping with the name, the channel has now confirmed that there will be a double launch for the series this year!

Yes, that’s right – you read it correctly. There will be two launch nights this time around, and unknown to them, Housemates will enter the House on both nights.

This means that there are two launch shows, each running one hour.

The first kicks off at 8pm March 22 and the second at 7.30pm on Monday, March 23.

Both launch shows will be screened live on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161).

What will happen on both nights is anyone’s guess!

This year Biggie asked wannabe Housemates to enter either as pairs or individuals so he’s definitely cooking up something and knowing the man of mystery, it’s definitely going to be something completely unexpected.

One thing that is expected however is that Big Brother Mzansi: Double Trouble will have a state of the art house, as with previous seasons, where Housemates will spend the 56 day duration of the series.

The show’s producers are giving the public a sneak peek of the house in the run-up to the all-important launch nights.

The newly revamped Big Brother house will be screened live 24 /7 on DStv channels 197/ 198 and is covered by no less than 44 cameras.

Spacious, airy and very accommodating, the house features a large garden, bathroom, diary room, store room, indoor arena, three bedrooms, lounge area and a fully functional kitchen.

The look of the house is a fusion of clean contemporary lines in the furniture with modern bright wallpapers, showcasing a bold, retro, playful and youthful interior in keeping with the open plan, flowing architecture of the space.

Sponsors for the house this year include Black Fabrics (fabrics and wall paper), Versus Paint (wall treatments and paint supply) and The Friendly Plant (landscaping and garden services).

With Big Brother Mzansi: Double Trouble now on track to launch, fans can join the conversation online.

Don’t forget the whopping R2 million prize money on the show is still a secret and the only clue is that it won’t be less than R1 million.

Wonder what that means? Stay tuned, Big Brother Mzansi: Double Trouble is about to begin! – DStv.
