Billiat most fouled player in ABSA

JOHANNESBURG. — Zimbabwe international forward, Khama Billiat, is the fifth most fouled player in the South African Premiership this season.
This is according to a survey conducted by Soccer-Laduma.
The Soccer-Laduma stats show that two Ajax Cape Town players sit on top of the list as the most fouled, with Franklin Cale and Granwald Scott both being fouled, on average, three times per game.

Bloemfontein Celtic man, John Arwuah, closely follows the pair with 2.75 per game, while Lerato Chabangu, of Moroka Swallows, , is fouled around 2.7 times on average in the PSL.

Fifth on the list is Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Billiat, who is illegally halted 2.63 times.
Interestingly, looking at the top 25 most fouled players in the PSL, only four, Chabangu, Billiat, Tsepo Masilela and Innocent Mdledle are from the current top three teams in the league.

Masilela, of Kaizer Chiefs, is fouled 1.91 times per game, while SuperSport United man, Mdledle, suffers 1.8 fouls on average.
Following behind Masilela, at 24th on the list is Orlando Pirates midfielder Andile Jali, who is fouled around 1.85 times by the opposition while playing.

While many believe that Chiefs striker, Bernard Parker, would be among the most fouled, the stats say otherwise.
Parker is ranked 27th on the list of most fouled, being brought down 1.67 times per PSL game. – Soccer-Laduma
