Bison Agro Machinery opens service center in Chiredzi to boost agricultural productivity

Online writer

BISON Agro Machinery Manufacturing has inaugurated a new service center in Chiredzi aimed at supporting local farmers with essential after-sales and backup services for their agricultural equipment.

The initiative is part of the broader Government agriculture mechanisation programme designed to enhance productivity and bolster food security across the nation.

Establishment of the center follows the successful deployment of over 150 Belarus-made tractors now in use by private farmers in the Chiredzi area.

This collaboration between Zimbabwe and Belarus underscores a commitment to modernising the agricultural sector and increasing mechanisation in farming practices.

The Government’s Vision 2030 aims to transform Zimbabwe into an upper-middle-income economy, and this new service center is a crucial step in achieving those goals by ensuring that farmers have reliable access to maintenance and support for their machinery.

As the country continues to focus on enhancing agricultural outputs, Bison Agro Machinery’s investment in Chiredzi is expected to play a pivotal role in driving local agricultural development.
