BLABBERMOUTH: Pay your bill, Mr Politician

WHAT is this that we hear about this other political figure whom we thought was a straight-up gentleman, but is now proving to be just another social misfit?

I mean this other youthful fellah who is the current occupant of a top office at this other major service provider in our beautiful city.

From his behaviour, we have now learnt that there is nothing in a name.

Being a namesake to one of Jesus’ disciples, we all thought he would be honest, principled and straight forward in his way of doing things, but alas the opposite is true.

His name is similar to one of the most obscure among the apostles of Jesus. I mean that disciple whom some scholars claimed that he was actually one of Jesus’ half-brothers.

Word reaching Yours Truly is that our dear politician is playing hide and seek with authorities of this other uptown watering hole where he owes US$200.

I mean this other watering hole whose name has something to do with automobiles.

It appears the love for the waters of wisdom got the better of our dear youthful and overzealous politician, who also has a legal profession background.

Blabber hopes that he did not spend that amount on unthankful Jezebel sisters because the way he is resisting to pay the bill suggests that he feels it was a sheer waste of money.

Yours Truly will be consoled to learn that he spent the amount pampering his political sympathisers because at least these ones will give him a vote.

In the interest of promoting and safeguarding our business entities, Blabber is contemplating helping the watering hole recoup what it is owed, not only by this youthful politician, but many more respected individuals.

Our dear politician joined opposition politics with so much vigour to the extent that most people thought that he stood for what is right.

However, what we now see is a different character.

With the way he is abusing the limited power in his hands at the moment, we all wonder how he will behave when, by chance, he is given real power.

I rest my case, for now.
