WHAT is this that we hear about this other not-so-honourable thug-turned-politician, who seems to be failing to leave his old ways of doing things to suit his new role in society.
We all know the stinking past of this goon, but somehow, our society gave him a chance to redeem his character, and at least fit in his new role as a political leader.
We all know him, given his background in street fighting, when he was at the forefront of that gang that was famous for hunting down its perceived enemies in our beautiful city.
Indeed, the moniker, hunters, best suited their conduct back then.
Somehow, now that he is in a leadership position of authority, the least we expected of him is to continue intimidating and threatening to assault innocent citizens.
It only took an audio currently circulating on the social media that we soon realised that a leopard hardly changes its spots.
In the viral audio, Blabber was shocked to learn that this unrepentant gangster is busy plotting to assault fellow political leaders.
It was surprising, as the audio exposes, that in his typical fearless, and yet unwise approach to matters, the goon has enlisted the services of well-known Mutare bouncers to assault several leaders.
Shockingly, this good-for-nothing charlatan is fanning hatred and animosity within the party he purports to be serving as a leader.
He is even sending youths to assault whoever crosses his path, including those who refuse to give him cash.
A number of political leaders, especially those with fat pockets, have been on his hit list for refusing to hand out cash to him at some point.
The good thing is that according to the circulating audio, the youths enlisted for assaulting certain individuals, are now refusing to be used.
We hope and pray that the leader of the hired monyas will continue seeing the light, and understands that gone are the days that youths can be used anyhow.
It was great to hear one of the “great” youths declaring that they can only beat up our uncouth cadre’s targets if he throws the first punch.
What a diplomatic response to a stupid request!
Blabber does not condone violence, and hates it with a passion.
The long and short of my story, ladies and gentlemen, is that, in his current role as a political leader, he is nothing more than a square peg in a round hole.
Blabber, being an elder in our community, can only remind him of the need to change his ways and behave like a leader.
Blabber does not hate him as an individual.
We actually respect him as one of our community leaders, but he surely needs to act like one.
I rest my case!
