FOR some reason, Yours Truly has been watching from a distance, observing how many people are now seeking ritual or spiritual interventions for them to make money.
It is just absurd!
Whatever happened to the good old lessons of hard work, patience and focus, one wonders. The situation has been made scary by events unfolding in that other gold mining area near our beloved and beautiful city.
Young men and women are now flocking some ritualists from different religions for them to be assisted with charms that make them instant fat cats and grubstakers.
Some are stone hearted to the extent of sacrificing their close relatives, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers or parents, in selfish means to get rick quickly.
Who has not heard of this other women with one breast who is dishing out juju like confetti at a wedding in that same nearby gold mining area?
As Yours Truly was digesting all this, boom, word reaching Blabber is that there are some lodge owners in the Central Business District who recently dug juju right at the gate.
Upon investigations, Yours Truly was informed that the reason behind this act is that the juju will instantly result in more clients visiting the place.
In fact, the juju, they say, is meant to confuse clients who walk in the premises so that they continue coming back and give the owners more business.
For those that could be wondering which lodge is this, read on…
The name of the lodge has something to do with gateways and perhaps that explains why they chose to plant their juju right at the gate or entry point to the premises. It is located somewhere close to that other school meant for female learners in our beautiful city. Yes, the lodge is close to a very popular eatery in the city.
Blabber will be watching closely and give updates on how their clientele base has increased after this scary ritual.
But, being an elder in our community, Blabber feels duty bound to teach fellow brothers and sisters that there is nothing, but sad ending to the use of juju.
No one ever used juju to achieve what they wanted and never regretted it. The end is sad. Those with ears have heard!
