Black Opal Zimbabwe is back again with its third instalment of the Black Opal Face of Zimbabwe. The Campus Culture Magazine and Black Opal Zimbabwe have come together for a function they have dubbed “BOFOZ Scouting Party” set for tomorrow at Alex Sports Club in Milton Park in Harare.

Black Opal Zimbabwe each year searches for a local brand ambassador for their cosmetics brand. This year for Black Opal Face of Zimbabwe 2014 they will reach out to more University students with these functions.

The first prize is US$8 000; second prize US$4 000; and third prize US$2 000 for winners which would go a long way for a student’s campus life and life in general if she enters and wins.

Speaking to Tatenda Mutseyekwa, chief Marketing Officer of Black Opal Zimbabwe he said the winners of the competition gets to have their face on all Zimbabwean Black Opal promotional material.

“The winners face will be put on billboards, banners, brochures, television everywhere you can think that a company as big as Black Opal Zimbabwe would put their brand ambassador’s face — they will put it,” said Tatenda

With the BOFOZ Scouting party, Campus Culture has bridged Black Opal and University Students to engage in a fun non-formal environment to promote the Black Opal Face of Zimbabwe promotion.

“There will be a Make-up Booth for make-up touch ups, a modelling teaser and mini fashion show by new local Clothing Manufacturing Company ‘Chic Street’,

“Entertainment will be provided by award winning dancehall artist Soul Jah Love and Dj Storm ,” said Mutseyekwa.

The Black Opal Finale is slated for May 30 2015. Campus Culture is a student body that links University Students and the corporate world from a business, social and sporting perspective. They achieve this by networking and partnering with corporates to engage student life at all Universities

BOFOZ Scouting party is an experiential marketing campaign by Black Opal Zimbabwe to create awareness and encourage usage to a market that will grow into Zimbabwe’s future workforce.
