PREMIERSHIP army side Black Rhinos have undertaken a two-week training camp in Kariba which the club’s executive say is meant to prepare the players for their away matches.
Wellington Mabinginye, the club’s secretary, yesterday said their squad will play a number of friendly matches during their time in the resort town.

Rhinos coach Arthur Tutani has taken 33 players for the intensive training camp.
“We are still continuing with our preparations and the squad is now taking shape but we still have to finalise on the list.

“At the moment the coach has 33 players, including the juniors who left for Kariba on Tuesday. We believe that three players will be dropped from the team and could be loaned to our sister clubs,” said Mabinginye. Over the years Black Rhinos players have utilised the training facilities at Wafa Wafa camp, on the shores of Lake Kariba, and Mabiginye is hopeful that the players will build on their mental strength.

“This camping is mainly geared for team building among the players. As we start a new season with some new and old players, it is important that they get to know each other.
