POPULAR Kenyan dancehall ensemble Black Supremacy Sounds will date dancehall enthusiasts in Bulawayo for the first time next month with a performance at the reopening of Mojo Bar at the Bulawayo Athletic Club (BAC).
This will be part of the Black Supremacy’s tour of Zimbabwe during the Heroes and Defence Forces holiday which will also take them to Mutare and Harare.
The Kenyan outfit will tour Zimbabwe with the country’s own Legendary Sounds with DJ Smylie, Redfox Sounds and MC Smallz.

The organisers of the gig said Bulawayo’s up-and-coming artistes are going to benefit from the Black Supremacy visit as they have scheduled a workshop to be facilitated by the Kenyan ensemble.

In an interview, Wushe Wushe, who is the entertainment co-ordinator of Mojo Bar, confirmed that the group would perform in Bulawayo on the day he dubbed “Amarasta BBQ Party”.

“We are bringing the real deal to Bulawayo and nothing fake. This is going to be the day of amarasta in Bulawayo. There is going to be a lot of excitement on the day and people must anticipate a lot of big things,” said Wushe. Local talents are expected to share the stage with the dancehall tune masters and these include DJs MH-1, Dash, Marcus Andro, Keitho, Josh and dancehall artiste Centre Party.

Wushe urged all dancehall fans to come in their numbers.
“Amarasta in Bulawayo will never be the same after this show as they will experience incredible things,” he said.

The event would give fans an opportunity to see the new-look BAC after renovations.
