adminBangkok. — Twenty-eight anti-government protesters were injured in a bomb explosion in Bangkok on Friday, the Nation newspaper reported. The Erawan Emergency Centre of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration earlier said that 20 people were injured in the incident. According to the Nation, the injured are now being treated in different hospitals.
Military police from the army have arrived at the site to investigate the explosion.
An unknown assailant threw a bomb from a three-storey building at the march of protesters, security guards of the anti-government People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) were quoted as saying. — Xinhua.
