Bling 4 to unleash first album

Hip-hop artist Bling 4 is set to captivate audiences with his highly anticipated debut album, “Hosanna,” set for release this Saturday at Aquatic Complex Chitungwiza.

Bling 4 unveiled his latest creation at a listening party over the weekend, where he shared the album’s journey and aspirations.

The project, a joint of over a year’s work, is a vibrant tapestry of sounds that draws inspiration from Zimbabwe’s rich musical heritage while embracing all aspects of mankind from religion to social influences.

Some of the artists, who will perform at the launch, include Holy Ten, Voltz JT, Bagga, Saintfloew, Chillmaster, Chillspot Records, Nisha T, Kikky, Young Gemni, Runna Rulez, Heinz’s, Madedido, Natasha Muz, Dhadza D, and Kayflow.

In an interview, Bling 4 said the album is beyond the hip-hop genre; for him, it is a mainstream album.

The album is set to introduce him to the mainstream audience.

“I wanted to share my story and inspire others to live authentically; everyone here has a story to share.

“The album is beyond the genre hip-hop, but it’s a mainstream album. We are ready for the album; everything is set for us to give our fans good music.

“The album is not just music; it’s a celebration of resilience, creativity, and the boundless possibilities of artistic expression.

“It’s the first album; it’s a follow-up on the previous EP. It will house up to 10 solid tracks.

50% features and the other 50% alone.

“The album is so unique and set to introduce me into the mainstream and break the genre barrier, the songs carry a vibrant and versatile sound however maintaining the original my sound. The message covers all aspects of mankind from religion, ghetto & social stories as well as love & party topics,” he said.

A rapper in his own right, he has been in the entertainment industry for the past five years and is now bringing his creative vision to the forefront with his first album ‘Hosanna.’

The album is a follow-up of his Extended Play “Ghetto Yut” that was released last year. Hosanna will have 10 songs with 50 percent of collaborations.

Bling4’s experiences growing up in the ghetto and navigating failed relationships have influenced his music, reflecting the harsh realities faced by Zimbabwean youths.

Songs like “Ndozviripo,” “Zviri Paground,” “Nhamo Dzangu,” and “Munhu Wenyama” provide social commentary on these struggles.

“Hausi Bharanzi” stands out as a breakthrough track, propelling Bling4 into the spotlight within the Zim hip-hop scene and local showbiz industry.
