TROUBLED Zimdancehall artist, Takura ‘Blot’ Chiwoniso, has been dumped by his management team.
His manager, David Tatenda Shilline, who is also known as Kingdollar, of Royal Empire Records International, told H-Metro he had parted ways with the troubled musician.
Blot, who has been battling drug addiction, has been having a troubled time.
Ironically, he has been releasing songs which are meant to help others fight the demons of drug and substance abuse.
Blot, was not answering his mobile phone when H-Metro tried to contact him for his comment.
Kingdollar said Blot had immense potential and it was just unfortunate that things have not gone according to what the management team had planned for him.
He also chronicled the singer’s journey.
“He became popular in 2016 after his hit song, Ndiri Bad on the Stage Riddim, by Chill Spot Records.
“He gave a freestyle to Dama’s sister in Mbare.
“Dama firstly ignored Blot but his sister told him never to look down upon anyone and to just give Blot just seconds to listen to his freestyle lyrical artistry.
“Dama took Blot to DJ Fantan’s Chillspot Records and ordered Fantan to start recording him.
“From then onwards, all promoters were scrambling for his signature.”
Blot was recently acquitted at the Mbare Magistrate Court after he was arrested for allegedly possessing crystal meth.
