Blue Jets down DC Academy

they have played so far.
DC Academy have been on the rebuilding exercise following the loss of their key players like goalkeeper Tonderai Mateyaunga, Paida Madziro and Tsepo Ranthokoane who are now turning out for the Premiership side Black Mambas.

Hillary Chombe and Willard Kalongonda were lured by Harare City.
Despite the defeat, DC coach, Newton Chitewe, said they were happy with the direction the team was taking and they will bounce back soon.
“We conceded a silly penalty and we got punished for that.

“These boys are young and they are still learning and you can actually see they are improving with each passing game. Today we played well but missed a glut of chances which I believe if we work on it we can start collecting maximum points soon.
“At least, the youngsters are showing character that they can play and I am sure, with time, they will improve,” said Chitewe.
Blue Jets’ win was their third of the season and they have moved up the ladder to 10th place.
