Bobbi Kristina Brown deserves ‘more decency, respect’

TYLER Perry thinks Bobbi Kristina Brown and her family should be shown more “decency and respect’’ and has urged fans to continue praying for her recovery. The 45-year-old actor — who was friends with the 22-year-old aspiring actress’ late mother Whitney Houston and has been supporting her father, Bobby Brown — has urged his fans not to “speak death onto those who are still alive’’.

He said people should continue praying for the seriously ill starlet after rumours that she had died earlier this week began swirling when a white tent was erected outside her hospice facility.

In an emotional message on his Facebook page last week, the If Loving You Is Wrong star wrote: “This morning I woke up with Whitney on my mind. I couldn’t help but think about all that she must have dreamed for her child.

“I know this was not her dream . . . ”

Tyler also slammed speculation Bobbi Kristina had died, adding: “May I ask you all, to please show some decency and respect? Not only to Krissi’s family, but also to the other families that are there in this place.

“It’s heartbreaking to think that even in a time like this, this child is still not allowed any peace. I assure you, the family will issue an official statement if something changes.

“Until then, can we just pray for Krissi, and the Houston and Brown families?”

Bobbi Kristina was moved to Peachtree Christian Hospice in Georgia last month after being found unresponsive in a bath at her home in Atlanta on January 31.

Her maternal grandmother Cissy Houston previously admitted she wasn’t “progressing at all’’ and had suffered “irreversible brain damage’’. — Sowetan.
