ASPIRING body-builders will get a chance to have a feel of the stage when the National Federation of Zimbabwe Body-building and Fitness hosts the 2015 Mr and Ms Novice competition in the capital next weekend.
The competition, which is open to first timers, will take place at the Longcheng Plaza on Saturday.
In a statement, the NFZBBF said preparations for the event were progressing well.
“Mr and Ms Novice will take place on March 28, 2015 at Longchen Plaza, 1+1 Happy. The competition is meant for first timers.
“The competition will have the following categories: senior men body-building, junior men body-building, ladies body-building, ladies fitness figure and Mr Fitness physique.
“The main sponsors are American Embassy, No Limit Supplements and 1+1,” reads the statement.
Notable athletes who went on to dominate the national stage after gracing the Novice competition are Zumailer Eusen Mamman (1995), Eddie Marondera (2010), Nunurai Masosonere (2012), Reginald Pasara (2012) and Regina Jonga (2012).
