EXPERIENCED bodybuilder Godwin Simbarashe Mhaka has given a strong indication that he is retiring from bodybuilding and transitioning into office work.

Mhaka recently finished second at the World Fitness Championship in Berlin, Germany, and believes he has achieved enough on the stage.

He now wants to support young athletes and create opportunities for them to achieve their goals.

Mhaka thanked his sponsors and supporters who helped him throughout his bodybuilding journey.

“My dream has come true, however age is now catching up with me and I think it is now the right time to say bye to the stage and focus on admin to make sure I also support and grow young athletes by creating ground for them to achieve their goals as well,” he said.

“A big thanks to all my sponsors for this world biggest show which I managed to finish as the runner-up. I am grateful to my platinum sponsor SebamEnergy, Musabvunda Fitness And Lifestyle, Tuff Industries and all those who supported me through this journey.

“I am happy for the support from Collin Mushunje Marimba, Lawson Fitness, Juice the Strongest Total Fitness Zimbabwe, continental wire and everyone who was behind me.

“I hope you will keep on showing me support, I really appreciate your efforts,’ said Mhaka.
