UPCOMING musician, Desmond “Boi Shona” Chikomo, says challenges have made him firm and resolute in building his career.
Speaking to H-Metro, Boi Shona said the challenges have served as stepping stones in his life.
“I have encountered a lot of challenges ever since I started my music career but I take them as learning phases and focus on building my career. Life is full of surprises, challenges and success and, for me, the challenges have helped to get where I am today.
“No matter how big the challenges I face, I keep moving forward and focus on my goals,” he said.
He assured his fans that he has more to offer. “This is just the beginning, indeed, I am pleased with my achievements but I dream about getting bigger than where I am now.
“I have more to give musically and, with the support I am getting, I believe I will reach very far,” said the musician.
Boi Shona is delighted with the support he has been getting.
“I feel honoured and I am grateful.
“My songs including Honai, Tafa and Wadiwa Wepamoyo, are receiving great recognition, although I must admit that the trending of Honai has paved a way for my music career,” he said.
Before becoming a musician, he wanted to be a video director. He said he has a number of projects he is working on.
