Information Agency quoted Vice Minister of Social Defence and Controlled Substances Felipe Caceres as saying.
Caceres said the achievements were made with less cooperation and logistic support from the United States, which has built the Joint Task Force with Bolivia.
Bolivia and the United States have previously coordinated in the fight against drug-trafficking.
But “anyway, they did not certify our work,” Caceres said.
However, Caceres also said that the Joint Task Force of the two countries will continue to work in the eradication of illegal coca plant in regions where it is not allowed, adding that under no circumstances can new producers nor crops be tolerated. — Xinhua.
