BORROWDALE PRIMARY SCHOOL LOSES BOOKS

THIEVES broke into Borrowdale Primary School premises on Wednesday and stole stationery and other valuables.

The most affected block houses Grade 3 pupils and the total value stolen is yet to be ascertained.

In another reported case, Simbarashe Nyabadza, 36, of Block C Support Unit Camp, lost property worth US$500 when thieves broke into the Camp Storeroom.

Simbarashe had locked his property into the storeroom for safe keeping, sometime in January.

He returned on Monday to find everything had been stolen.

Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the cases.

“Police are investigating two cases of unlawful entry in Borrowdale and at Support Unit,” said Insp Chakanza.
