(Highlanders won 3-1 after penalty shootout)

HIGHLANDERS’ substitute goalkeeper Reward Muza put on a heroic show to carry the Bulawayo giants to the Chibuku Super Cup final following a penalty shoot-out victory at Rufaro.

Muza, who was introduced in the 78th minute following the injury to Aron Ngwenya, made two saves during the tie-break after Bosso had staged a late comeback to end the match in a 1-1 stalemate.

Another second half substitute Reason Sibanda forced the match to a shoot-out after he headed home the equaliser with about eight minutes of regulation time remaining.

Sibanda jumped the highest to plant the header from a free kick taken from a distance by Andrew Mbaba.

CAPS United winger Davison Marowa had broken the deadlock in the 59th minute.

But Bosso were clinical in the tie break, converting all their kicks via Rainsome Pavari, Isaac Ngoma and Mongameli Tshuma, who was the star of the show in regulation.

CAPS United were the first to take their kicks but Gurende had his effort saved by Muza before Obriel Chirinda blasted over ther bar.

Midfielder Lloyd Njaliwa converted but when Muza saved from Alleby Mukombedzi, Bosso erupted into celebrations.

Highlanders will meet Hardock in the final on November 28 at Chahwanda.
