BOSSO COACH Kaindu concedes

BOSSO coach Kelvin Kaindu yesterday conceded that his game plan terribly back fired.

“I think today we failed to play. We created chances but we did not compete. We lacked the killer punch and after conceding two goals we still felt we had a chance but when they scored the third goal we felt deflated,” he said.

In attempt to contain the pressure Kaindu said he ended up having to employ the offside trap.

“Football is a pressure game and we could not sustain pressure. After conceding two goals in the first half we changed the game plan and started playing the offside trap which we do not normally play. But still we could not compete against our opponents,” he said.

Bosso’s seemingly perennial failure to beat DeMbare is also having its toll on the team’s players Kaindu added.

“It is a game that brings much criticism after it has been played. So we were playing cautiously trying to avoid mistakes. And it feels bad to be defeated by Dynamos in every passing game,” he said.

Dynamos coach Kallisto Pasuwa lauded his charges for a pumped up show.

“We are happy for the boys especially the strike force for scoring four goals. We have been defending well but the offensive was lacking. You look at Simba (Sithole) he has been playing well but the goals had not been coming for a long time.

“We had to be patient with him and it worked out well today,” he said.

The DeMbare gaffer revealed that his game plan was centered on suffocating Highlanders of space to knit moves in the middle of the park.
