Bosso expect Sakunda branded kit next year

HIGHLANDERS will take delivery of their Sakunda Holdings branded On The Ball Looks (OTB) kit early next year, OTB Looks chief executive officer Peter Chiveso has confirmed.

Bosso have been using an old kit with a NetOne logo, which they taped over since entering into a mega sponsorship deal with Sakunda Holdings.

OTB Looks said it was busy working on bringing in the new kit bearing the club’s new principal sponsor.

“From the OTB Looks position, we’re working on bringing in a new kit with the new sponsor’s name in the new year.

We’ve gone through the design process and production will start soon,” said Chiveso.

Bosso acting chief executive officer Ronald Moyo said they were on top of the situation and both parties are content with the processes involved and once the business end of acquiring the new kits is reached, the branded kits will be unveiled at the right time.

“There are processes which all parties involved are aware of. There are no deadlines that have been violated so far, so there are no delays. The processes are going on smoothly and at the right time the branded kits will be unveiled,” said Moyo.

Chiveso said Highlanders had handled the kit situation professionally.

“I suppose it’s a transitional period and each club has handled the kit situation to the best of their ability while they wait for the new delivery,” he said.

Bosso entered into a three-year US$300 000 kit sponsorship deal with OTB Looks, with the supplier expecting to sell about 5 000 kits per year, although those plans were badly affected by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic last year.

Besides Highlanders, OTB Looks also has a technical relationship with Dynamos.
