NEW: Bosso reunite with Kaindu

Online Reporter

A few days after parting ways with Brazilian coach Baltemar Brito, Highlanders have appointed Kelvin Kaindu, the Zambian gaffer who almost led Bosso to the championship podium in 2012 and 2013.

Kaindu returns to Highlanders almost a decade after his last stint with the Bulawayo giants.

He was in charge when Highlanders finished second behind Dynamos in 2012 and 2013, before leaving the club in 2014.

Kaindu is also a former Highlanders player.

“Highlanders Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Kelvin Kaindu as the new head coach for the club’s first team.

“Kaindu is not new to the club, having previously played for Highlanders in 1997 before he was entrusted with the Bosso dugout between 2012 and 2014.

“The entire management would like to extend a warm welcome to Kaindu and wish him all the best as he opens yet another chapter with Highlanders Football Club,” wrote Highlanders in a press statement on Tuesday.
