HIGHLANDERS will face Scottland at this year’s 46th Independence Day celebrations, to be held at Maphisa Growth Point in Matobo District, Matabeleland South Province.
The match will form part of the main programme for the national celebrations, which will run under the theme “Zim@46: Unity and Development Towards Vision 2030.”
The fixture provides Highlanders with an opportunity to participate in a national event while engaging supporters in the province.
Football has traditionally been included in Independence Day celebrations as a way of promoting sport and community participation. The match is expected to attract football fans from across the province and surrounding areas.
