HIGHLANDERS are likely lose a second player to an Absa Premier Soccer League teamAï¿½ if a trial stint spanning over a week by diminutive midfielder Rahman Kutsanzira at Platinum Stars starting on Easter Monday is successful.

Bosso have already lost striker Knox Mutizwa to Bidvest Wits although he is set to join the Johannesburg side in July.

Kutsanzira is set to leave Bulawayo on Sunday via Harare before connecting a flight to Mzansi on Easter Monday together with unheralded Ntabazinduna player James Chivas to the same destination.

aï¿½?Kutsanzira and Chivas are set to fly out of the country on Monday for a trial stint with Platinum Stars. The Platinum Stars bosses and other scouts were in the country during the course of the week,aï¿½? said a reliable source.

aï¿½?Initially, they had come into the country to monitor young Highlanders forward Prince Dube. They had a change of mind as they announced they now wanted to closely monitor Kutsanzira and Chivas,aï¿½? said the source.

Contacted for comment, Kutsanzira could neither confirm nor deny his trip to Mzansi.

On Wednesday, these reporters had the privilege of catching a glimpse of Kutsanzira and Chivasaï¿½ï¿½ flight itinerary documents which were reportedly handed to the two players by their respective clubs a day earlier.

Kutsanzira is a former CAPS United forward who retraced his steps to Bosso aï¿½ï¿½ his boyhood club in 2014 after he had put forward a transfer request to the Makepekepe hierarchy.

He was reported to be unsettled at the Green Machine although he still had a running contract with the Harare giants, which expired at the end of 2014.
