FROM painting murals to painting shame across social media, hip-hop artiste and visual creative Leeroy “Bow” Brittain is now begging for redemption after a leaked sex-laced voice note with alleged side chick Noxxy Royal left his marriage hanging by a thread.
In a public apology that read more like a confessional prayer, Bow poured out his heart after the scandal broke the internet, blaming a hacked phone but fully owning up to the affair.
“I come before you today with a heavy heart,” Bow wrote in an open letter titled Respect. Beyond Religion. “I take full responsibility for the hurt and disappointment this has caused.”
The voice note — which has since gone viral — captured a flirtatious and unfiltered exchange between Bow and a woman believed to be Novuyo “Noxxy Royal” Ncube. The pair have allegedly been entangled in a secret love affair for more than seven years, while Bow maintained a home with his wife and their children.

“This moment of weakness does not define who I am,” wrote Bow, now facing the biggest fallout of his career. “To my wife, the love of my life . . . I am truly sorry. My actions betrayed the sacred trust we’ve built.”
This comes after Bow initially went on a Facebook rampage, admitting to the affair in bold status updates, even bragging:
“Yes, I’ve sniffed powder. Yes, I’ve been high and paying for lodges. It’s my life, my money . . . and if journalists want the story, go ahead.”
But as social media dragged him through the mud for neglecting his seven children while parading his mistress, Bow swiftly changed tune. In a dramatic reversal, he claimed his account was hacked and that “someone is sabotaging” him.
Now, in what reads like a man trying to save what’s left of a collapsing empire, Bow is appealing to his wife and in-laws for forgiveness.
“To my in-laws . . . I offer my sincerest apology for the shame this situation has brought,” he wrote. “I know I have disappointed you and I humbly ask for your forgiveness and grace.”
The apology continues with teary-eyed declarations to his children:
“You are my light . . . I will work every day to rebuild your pride in me. To stand before you not as a broken man, but as one who rose from his mistake to become better.”
But the streets aren’t buying it just yet. Bow’s past rants, his proud declarations of the affair, and Noxxy’s bold claim in the leaked call that she’s ready to dump her husband for him have left a bitter taste.
Fans have now turned from admirers to moral judges, questioning whether the artist who once brought colour to city walls can ever clean up his image.
“I am not perfect, but I am not without conscience,” Bow confessed. “This pain has carved something open in me. I am choosing to heal, to grow, and to love more fully than I ever have before.”
Whether this public plea will save his marriage or his career remains to be seen. For now, Bow may be down on one knee — not for art, not for gospel, but for forgiveness.
And in the court of public opinion, redemption won’t come easy.
