A 14-YEAR-OLD Marange boy died on the spot after being crushed to death by a speeding Honda Fit vehicle.
Manicaland provincial spokesperson, Inspector Luxson Chananda, confirmed the incident and subsequent arrest of Patrick Masiyakudya (43) of Gimboki section of Dangamvura who was driving the car.
“Blessing Musarurwa from Musa Village in Chief Marange’s area was playing with his friends when he was hit by the Honda Fit vehicle. He sustained head injuries and died on the spot. The incident happened at Shavambiri Business Centre,” he said.
Insp Chandanda urged drivers to exercise extreme caution, especially when driving in areas where children usually frequent and play.
