A 14-year-old boy brought business to a halt at Chasiya Primary School in Chivi District in Masvingo when he was allegedly caught being intimate with a goat while his friend cheered him on.
Headman Aaron Chinodya Masunda confirmed the incident but said he was waiting for a formal report from the owners of the animal.
“I was talking to some villagers a few minutes ago and they informed me about the incident. However, I am still waiting for a formal report from the owners of the goat after which I will call the parents of the boy. The boy is a minor but what he did is a criminal offence,” said Headman Masunda yesterday.
“That is bestiality and it is taboo.”

The incident happened on Thursday at about 1.30pm.
The boy who is doing Grade Seven at the school and is from Chasiya left teachers and fellow villagers in stitches when he was seen being intimate with the animal under the watchful eye of his friend who cheered him on.
According to villagers, the boy was in school uniform.

The villagers said he and his friend had decided to take a siesta just behind the school grounds.
“On the day in question at around lunch time the boy and his friend decided to rest behind the school grounds. While they were resting they saw some goats and the boy gave chase to a female one until he caught up with the animal,” said one of the villagers.

When he caught up with the goat, he tied it to a tree using some fibres.
“He tied the animal to a tree with the help of his friend who is also of the same age. I think the duo had agreed to take turns in sexually abusing the animal but it was one of them who was caught in the act while the friend waited for his turn. The other boy was cheering his friend on,” said the villager.

“The boy was caught with his shorts pulled down to his knees while mounting on the backside of the goat. He was disturbed by unidentified female teachers from the school who took the two boys and interrogated them.”

The villager said when the boy was asked what he was doing he said he wanted the animal to feel how it was to be intimate with a human being.

“The boy left teachers and other villagers in stitches when he did not hide that he was having a good time with a goat. He told them that he wanted the animal to feel his manhood,” said the villager.
