Boy goes missing

Speaking to Chronicle on Sunday, Mr Calvin Mapurazi said his younger brother, Mukudzei Michael Dube, had not been located since the weekend.
“He is a Grade Five pupil at Mpumelelo Primary School in Gweru.
“Mukudzei was at home at Number 5951 Mkoba 9 in the company of our house helper who was preparing lunch for him,” said Mr Mapurazi.
He said the domestic worker discovered that he was missing after thoroughly searching for him in the house and checking with all his friends.
“The house helper discovered that Mukudzei was missing when she called him to come and have lunch before he could go for his extra lessons. She also checked with his friends and our close relatives and discovered that he was missing,” said Mr Mapurazi.
Mr Mapurazi said they tried making a police report yesterday and were told to wait a bit longer as juveniles had the tendency of disappearing.
“We discovered that Mukudzei was really missing today and I had to drive to Gweru myself to check. His parents are in South Africa and they are on their way,” he said.
He said his brother was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, a grey short with navy blue and red stripes and was bare-footed.
“We are appealing to anyone with information that can lead to the location of Mukudzei to contact the nearest police station or to contact us on 0772 890 440 or 0712 624 388,” he said.
