FOLLOWING requests from Premier and Division One clubs that are affiliated to Bulawayo Pool Association (BPA) to have the deadline of the final affiliation payments moved from 31 May to a later date, the association has notified clubs that the new deadline is now 15 June.

a?Clubs are hereby notified that the new deadline is now Thursday 15 June for all outstanding amounts to have been fully paid.

a?We encourage clubs to fully utilise this grace period,a? said BPA acting secretary-general Raphael Mukucha.

Affiliation and player registration fees were reduced by $50 for each league as compared to the past season. Premier and Division One affiliation fees for the 2017 season were pegged at $325 and $250 respectively.

Teams confirmed their participation in the 2017 pool season by depositing their first instalment of $50 to the BPA bank account.

a?A club that will not be fully paid up by this date risks being suspended indefinitely and will not be allowed to play the next fixture after this date until full payment is received.

Games falling within the period a team is suspended will be considered played and full points will be awarded to the opponents if they are fully paid up,a? added Mukucha. .
