Brad Pitt not taking a break

Brad Pitt is not resting on his laurels after taking home an Oscar in March for producing “12 Years A Slave”. On Tuesday Deadline reported the 50-year-old actor is in talks to make another WWII film, just months after wrapping the “Nazi Saga Fury”.
With a sequel to “World War Z” also on his plate, it doesn’t leave a lot of time to tie the knot with his fiancée of two years, Angelina Jolie.

The Golden Globe winner’s new project does not yet have a title, but the site reported it will be a romantic thriller.

Steven Knight is writing the script and Graham King, whose company GK Films has worked with Pitt on The Departed, is on board.

‘‘While it’s not a done deal yet and not yet set with a distributor, I’m hearing it’s serious and that a big director will be set,’’ Deadline staffer Mike Fleming reported.

The project will start in early 2015, after Pitt is done promoting “Fury” (which will be released on November 14) and when Jolie is done talking up her Christmas film “Unbroken”.

Brad has already starred in the WWII film “Inglourious Basterds for Quentin Tarantino”. Meanwhile, Angelina is busy promoting her May 30 Disney adventure Maleficent and finishing editing “Unbroken”, which has already been pegged as an Oscar contender.

There has been talk she may star in “Salt 2” next. In 2015 she will promote “Kung Fu Panda 3” which she has voiced the character Tigress for.

There have been many reports that Jolie and Pitt will tie the knot in France this summer, much like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West plan on doing.

Only the E! reality stars already have a date (May 24) which the A listers don’t seem to have yet.

The Mr And Mrs Smith stars announced their engagement in April 2012. — hollywoodtimes.
