A BRAESIDE man has been arrested for allegedly raping his 18-year-old maid on Saturday.
Evans Molani (36) was reported to have raped the maid after his wife had travelled to her rural home.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, said the maid was referred to MSF Clinic for a medical examination.
“On February 10 at around 11pm, the accused was reported to have arrived home drunk and ordered the complainant to serve him food and she complied.
“The accused person then grabbed the complainant and raped her once without protection.
“The complainant narrated her ordeal to the landlady who advised her to tell his wife, leading to his arrest,” said Insp Chakanza.
