Brazil restless over Eto’o

BRAZIL international Thiago Silva on Thursday described Cameroon captain Samuel Eto’o as a killer on the pitch and said the 33-year-old striker could be a hurdle to surmount for the Canarinho when both teams meet in Group A’s final match at the World Cup. “Eto’o is a player with great technical qualities. He is a killer at tight angles on the pitch,” Silva said.

“That is why he’s the striker I’m focusing on most in the group stage. Eto’o has huge experience and he’s coming to the tournament in top form,” the 29-year-old Paris Saint Germain and Brazil captain said.

Both players know each other very well from their time together in the Italian Serie A, with Eto’o playing at Inter Milan and Silva at AC Milan.
Cameroon will be making their seventh appearance at a Fifa World Cup, while Eto’o will be making his fourth. — Supersport.
