Brazilian firm to invest in Mozambique

from the central Port of Beira to potential markets in Asia and America, Radio Mozambique reported.
Citing Vale Chairperson Murilo Ferreira, the radio said lack of infrastructure constitutes a barrier to coal extraction in a large proportion. The project involves be the Nacala Development Corridor and a coal port at Nacala-a-Velha in the northern province of Cabo Delgado in co-ordination with the Mozambique Ports and Rails.
It expects to create more than 1 000 jobs. — Xinhua.
