BREAKING: Accident claims 5

At least five people died on the spot while other passengers were injured this afternoon when a commuter omnibus burst a rear tyre and overturned twice along the Tanganda-Ngundu highway.

The injured were rushed to Chipinge District Hospital. The number of the injured could, however, not be established. According to eye witnesses, the driver was speeding resulting in loss of control when the car burst its rear tyre. Police are investigating the cause if the accident.
