SOUTH AFRICA BIG Brother Mzansi contestant Yolanda Monyai has been disqualified. On Thursday, Yolanda made vulgar comments saying, “I wanna f**ing molest you.”
This angered viewers and they said they want her gone. They compared what she said to what Bravo B said, who was disqualified in the first week.
Back then, Bravo also got vulgar and wanted to take advantage of female housemates who had consumed alcohol. Mzansi Magic issued a statement early on Friday saying they would investigate the matter. She was then disqualified on Friday night.
Mzansi Magic sent Daily Sun a statement confirming that she had been disqualified. They said they don’t condone actions that jeopardise the safety of house residents.
“MultiChoice has investigated the matter regarding comments made by a housemate on Big Brother Mzansi, currently airing on DStv channel 198. We do not condone actions that threaten the safety of housemates on the show and we take gender-based violence (GBV) seriously.
“Therefore, the housemate who made the threatening remarks (Yolanda) has been disqualified from the game,” the statement reads.
When Yolanda defended herself against the remarks, she said she was trying to annoy Papa Ghost. (Source: Daily sun.co.za)
