BREAKING NEWS: Jail for Tomana

Prosecutor General Johannes Tomana has been slapped with a 30-day prison term for defying High and Supreme Courts orders compelling him to issue certificates for private prosecution of Bikita West Member of Parliament, Dr Munyaradzi Kereke and Telecel shareholder Jane Mutasa.

The sentence was wholly suspended on condition Tomana complies with the court orders within 10 days. Meanwhile, Tomana left the country for Russia this afternoon on State business.
