THE Highlanders Football Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) is underway at the clubhouse, with the chairman’s report being presented to members.

Addressing delegates, the chairman confirmed that the club conducted a comprehensive review of the technical team following a disappointing 2025 season.

“After the conclusion of the 2025 season, management undertook a comprehensive review of the technical team as part of our efforts to improve performance,” he said.

He also confirmed that former coach Thabo Senong will no longer be joining the club.

“Due to unforeseen challenges, the engagement of Thabo Senong could not be finalised and the club has since moved on,” the chairman said.

The chairman added that the club’s focus is now on supporting head coach Benjani Mwaruwari, whose appointment had already been announced.

“We are confident in Benjani Mwaruwari and will give him full support as we prepare for the new season,” he said.
