THE Sports and Recreation Commission have suspended their director-general Eltah Nengomasha amid revelations that she is due to face a disciplinary hearing at the sport regulatory body.
It was not immediately clear what triggered Nengomasha’s suspension.
SRC board chairman Gerald Mlotshwa however, confirmed the suspension in a brief statement last night.
“Please take note that pending the finalisation of a Hearing, the Director-General of the SRC has been suspended.
“Mr Sebastian Garikai will assume the role of Director-General in an Acting capacity until further notice,’’ read the statement.
