Organisers of the Ecobank Legends Night Africa have unveiled Congolese soukous queen Yondo Sister as the latest international star set to perform at this year’s show on September 26 in Harare.

Her addition comes after organisers recently announced Malian music icon Salif Keita as one of the headline acts, raising anticipation for what promises to be one of Zimbabwe’s biggest live music events of the year.

Legends Night Africa has become one of the country’s premier concerts, celebrating Africa’s greatest musical icons by bringing legendary performers to Zimbabwe. Over the years, the event has earned a reputation for delivering world-class entertainment while exposing local audiences to timeless African classics and creating unforgettable live music experiences.

Dubbed the “Queen of Soukous”, Yondo Sister is famed for her energetic kwassa kwassa performances, powerful vocals and an extensive catalogue of hits that have made her one of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s most celebrated female artistes.

With Salif Keita and Yondo Sister now confirmed, organisers have hinted that more renowned African artistes could still be added to the line-up, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration of African music and culture.
