BREAKING: Zim Covid-19 cases rise to 13

Zimbabwe’s confirmed cases for Covid-19 have risen to 13, after two cases tested positive today.

The other three have since died.

Today, 25 cases were tested and the two positive cases are 21 year old males from Harare who traveled to the United Kingdom together with case 10, a 21 year old female, also from Harare.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health and Child Care has said as part of contact tracing and follow-up, the local Covid-19 Rapid Response Team visited their homes and collected samples for testing, and the results came out positive.

They are both in a stable, with mild diseases and under self-isolation at home.
