TWO siblings are being accused of sending thugs to assault their neighbour.

Standby Masedu approached the Harare Civil Court seeking a peace order against his neighbours, Cephas and Abisha Mashayamombe, saying they hired criminals to assault him.

The two siblings are also being accused of attacking Standby with stones, causing head injuries.

Standby claimed they also destroyed his property worth $16 000.

“They insulted and assaulted me.

“I was attacked and I believe that Cephas and Abisha are responsible.

“They stoned my engines which are worth $1.6k,” Standby said.

In response both Cephas and Abisha denied the accusations.

“He is lying against us. Why did the police not arrest us,” Abisha said.

Cephas and Abisha requested that the matter be postponed.

The matter was postponed to Friday.
