As the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair draws visitors from around the globe to Bulawayo, local artistes are stepping up to show their pride and unity. A striking banner featuring artistes Mzoe7, Boss Wadaz, and Ma9ine greets visitors along Luveve Road as they head into the city centre.

This banner, with its welcoming message, is just one of several that can be spotted in key locations around the city, including 12th Avenue, Parirenyatwa, Bradfield, and at the ZITF grounds.

The initiative, led by the three Bulawayo artistes, aims to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and to showcase the spirit of unity and cooperation among the city’s artistic community. Despite coming from different tribes, Mzoe7, Boss Wadaz, and Ma9ine have joined forces in a display of solidarity, sending a powerful message across the nation.

“We came up with this initiative as a way of welcoming guests into the city and making them feel at home. This is also a way of showing the nation that if we stand united as one, we can achieve great things. We are encouraging the nation not to discriminate against each other. Everyone knows that the three of us are not from the same tribe, but we are working together and doing great things,” said Mzoe7.

This collaborative effort not only enhances the festive atmosphere of the trade fair but also reinforces the image of Bulawayo as a city of unity and cultural harmony.
