The Sikhumbuzo Ndlovu-coached outfit will be hoping to bring home a gold medal.
Chirinda said the team was in high spirits and that they were going to play for gold.
“We are looking forward to good games and we should be able to clinch gold.
The women’s Under-22 developmental side that will also travel with the team was expected to be announced yesterday evening.
Meanwhile, the men’s developmental Under-22 side that will be taken to gain experience was yet to be finalised.
Daniel Mombeshora the men’s coach said he expected his senior side which is strong to at least reach the final while the developmental side that will be made of the Under-22s is also expected to give a good account of itself.
“We have quite a compact team and I am positive the senior team will get to the final.
The main objective to include the developmental team is for them to gain experience,” he said.
All the regions that have leagues will be expected in Mutare.
